Notes:
smooth bark, spiny leaves. no fruit or flowers as of yet. highest point is 12-15ft tall. other branches/limbs bow over, looks like they try to take root where they touch the ground, not certain on that though. want to know if this is something I need to get rid of before it spreads and takes over everything or if it will be something I will be able to enjoy after clearing out the underbrush and clearing the cluttered trees. thanks for any info

I’m thinking photinia, those new leaves will turn reddish directly… As photinia is prone to a fungal leaf spot, it probably won’t be worth encouraging.
