Notes:
This flower started growing several weeks ago. It looked like a corn stalk at first and now has a bloom at the end. We didn’t plant it and have no idea what it is? I am in Central Kentucky. It started showing at the end of April/beginning of May.

Now that is very interesting! We love garlic but have never planted any. I am just curious how it got there! So, I should wait for the leaves to turn yellow and then dig up the garlic head?

Garlic. Probably elephant garlic. Some people use the flower heads in dried arrangements… Personally, I wait for the plant to turn yellow… and then dig for kitchen. It doesn’t harm the garlic to leave it in place… I have large patches of it… which require zero effort from me…
