Notes:

Last years flooding dumped alot of leaves and whatnot in our backyard. This year two of these were growing in it. They look kind of like an orchid, 2 leaves low to the ground, a long stem and a purple globe type flower at the end, all about 12 inches tall. We moved them from the debris they were in but can’t figure out what they are so we can plant them in a safe place in the B/Y. Any ideas? They are kind of cool!

We have one Pink Lady Slipper in Stockbridge, GA that appeared last year in our shady wild area at the base of a pine tree. I was so glad to see it bloomed again this year at the end of April.
