My wife received some flower seeds from a friend and we have no idea what they are but the plant has grown to approx. two foot high so far.

    This looks like Cleome. If it is you will have many more as the years go by. It really reseeds without any help. It has beautiful blooms, but the limbs are spiny and painful to the touch.
