Notes:
This plant is in a nursery and no one knows what it is. It came from Mexico grows along the river banks. Mexicans use it for stomach problems.

Looks like Firebush (Hamelia). There is much confusion between Florida native Firebush (Hamelia patens var. patens)and the non-native form (Hamelia patens var. glabra). Maybe link below will help you with the correct ID. http://okeechobee.ifas.ufl.edu/News%20columns/Firebush.htm
