My sister gave this to mom several years ago and I have always wondered what it is. Non-envasive, multiples in the same clump. I separated one and came up with 25 separate plants. The flowers are on an individual stalk. I really like it but have no idea what it is.

A flower picture would be helpful. It looks like Stokesia laevis (Stokes Aster).
