When I broke open one of the green, round seed pods there was a lot of white, sticky latex that came out. It’s growing in direct sun, next to a neighbor’s mail box. The shrub is about four or five feet tall. Doesn’t seem to boloom. Just gets those green, round pods.

Maybe a type of Euphorbia. According to sources the latex sap is known to be caustic. With out seeing the plant’s leaves, I’m guessing this could be euphorbia spurge (Euphorbia lathyris)?
