Notes:
I attend a meeting in Vancouver WA (not BC) every fall, and outside the hotel there are several of these trees. They are about 20′ tall, the leaves resemble the Eastern Redbud, but are hairy underneath. The fruits (?) are both unusual and beautiful. I have asked the hotel people about them for years, as well as several local people, but nobody seems to know what the tree is. Any idea what this is ? Would there be any hope of propogating it from the fruits/seeds, and would it grow in GA

hortiphoto Master Identifier says:
That looks like Clerodendrum trichotomum ( http://www.botanicalstockphotos.com/img487.htm )but it’s a little unusual that it would get that tall and be fruiting at this time of year. That species typically flowers in late summer ( http://www.botanicalstockphotos.com/img484.htm ) and fruits soon after.
