Notes:
i never noticed this tree in the back yard. i think it came from a cut off and i have no others like it. since my dogs own the yard i want to be sure it’s safe for them. thanks

Thanks. I do recall the fragrance from cutting some trees several years ago. I think i’ll pot some of the small ones growing near it.

The berries look like sassafras. The birds have already cleaned out the berries from my sassafras trees… Shouldn’t bother the dogs… I use the leaves to cook with, and occasionally make tea from the roots… They stopped using sassafras in root beer, but they still use file’ in creole recipes…
