Notes:

It is about the size of a dogwood. Saw it in NC and north Ga. Blooms in May. One guess was mountain camela but blooms don’t seem to match. So many white blooms it looks like snow on tree.

    This reminds me of the mock orange plant. One variety the hoary mock orange might be what you were seeing in may. http://www.missouriplants.com/Whiteopp/Philadelphus_pubescens_page.html
