Notes:

Appeared in my lawn at the end of January. Didn’t seem affected by snow. Our yard is surrounded by old-growth woodland which has a creek running through it.

    Looks like Trillium reliquum, Relict Trillium, a rare and endangered species of Georgia and South Carolina.
