Notes:

I have a vine climbing up several trees in the woods. It has long branches, maybe four feet long, that stand out from the tree. Before I take it down from the trees (along with the English ivy and poison ivy) I’d like to know what it is. Any ideas? Thanks!

looks like ‘climbing hydrangea’ Decumaria barbara
If it is, it’s a great native to keep.

That’s it. Thank you! Now I’ll have to have a “conversation” with the vines regarding how much of the trees they can take over. Knowing they are natives may have saved them.
