Notes:
We purchased a home with a VERY overgrown yard and are trying to clean it up and rescue it from the wild. There are also several neglected shrubs. This shrub stayed green through the winter and we’ve not seen it bloom (first saw house in September). It grows somewhat like a vine with the branches reaching for anything, one had grown through the chainlink fencing. Some of the branches had rooted themselves and it seems to have spread from the likely original planted spot.

With no flowers to narrow down its ID. I’m guessing maybe a type of Euonymous. Maybe spreading euonymus (E. kiautschovicus ‘Manhattan’)? If it is not Euonymous, when it blooms and still don’t know by then; please re post with picture of flowers. Thank you and best wishes! https://www.google.co.jp/search?q=Euonymus+kiautschovicus+manhattan&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjO1rvqiKDMAhUmx6YKHaECBoUQ7AkILw&biw=1252&bih=553#imgrc=O6GxtzAs6btSgM%3A
