This plant came up this year and it’s stems were 2 to 3 & 1/2 feet tall. It is close to my bird feeder. It was in bloom all of October and part of November. Lost all of it’s blooms quickly but am unsure if they just fell off or were eaten off. I couldn’t find their petals on the ground. Any idea what it might be.

    I think you have a toad lily and what a beauty!
    Variations in color are possible with the purple mottling.
