Notes:

We just noticed this weed growing around our lawn. It spreads, crawls. And it has a kind of sticky, clingy feel to it. And you can’t really find the root to pull it out. What is it?

    Well, I learned something. For those who didn’t click on the above link: “Cleavers are a part of the coffee family, and their fruits can be used to create a low-caffeine alternative to regular coffee. The rest of the plant is edible……” I have heard that old timers (back when they milked into a bucket) packed this plant in a funnel to strain the straw, flies, etc. from the milk.
