Weed or worth keeping?

Notes:

This plant was growing in a section of my backyard where our builder left a natural area. The plant looks similar to an azalea so we left it. The next spring it had these blooms. Is it worth keeping or is it a weed?

    I don’t recognize it, but…
    Even some weeds are worth keeping. If you like it, keep it. I have several weeds in my garden that are quite nice.
