These grow like weeds, but will grow 10 feet in a year, If you cut them at ground level they will return next month. How to eliminate and or kill off.

Looks like Sumac to me. Cut them off and paint with round up.

I think this may be Ailanthus, or Tree of Heaven. Here is a great web site that compares Ailanthus and sumac. Compare and decide for yourself which pest you own. http://themondaygarden.com/archives/2005/01/ailanthus_and_staghorn_sumac.html

I agree with steelekirk’s treatment, however.

These that are pictured are about 8-12 feet tall and are between 2-6 inches in diameter. They are huge, will round-up kill them?

In order for the round up to kill them cut them back close to the ground, and IMMEDIATELY (within 30 min) paint the cut stump with roundup concentrate straight from the bottle with a foam brush (or if you have hundreds, spray the stump with a strong mix in a backpack sprayer). It will be sucked into the plant’s vascular system and kill it. This is the only method that works on privet and sweet gums as well. Good luck!
