Notes:
This small vine is taking over my garden. In the late spring and thru summer it has very small white flowers that eventually go to seed. It does not have tendrils for climbing. It winds its way up anything available for climbing. It has several vines that radiate from one tap root. I need to know if it is an annual or perennial. If I keep it from going to seed, will that be enough to control it? Or do I need to go after the roots?

I’m not sure that the t plant is the same as the bottom two. It looks like a climbing buckwheat. http://www.southeasternflora.com/view_flora.asp?plantid=1346#
