What Grass is This?

Notes:

This is the grass in our front yard. We’d like to know what kind it is. It’s not doing well, so we’re having the soil tested. This is a north-facing, partly shaded. Need suggestions on what other grass will grow here, since this grass is not particularly attractive.

    North facing shaded sites would be well suited for fescue. Fall aerating and reseeding every year would be needed to maintain the best quality of fescue turf.

    The dried-up runner on the right looks like Centipede grass. Without seeing the conditions, it’s difficult to say what would do better. I don’t know why the Centipede isn’t doing well.
