its about 8 inches tall. I bought this a couple of weeks ago but I don’t know what its called.

   This is a pony tail palm (Beaucarnea recurvata), not really a palm. We got one in a tiny pot at the hospital in 1976 when our younger son was born. It is now over 8′tall and has put on several limbs.
   Do NOT over water it. It stores water in the large base. Takes part shade.
