We saw these plants in the Chamblee MARTA station parking lot landscaping. It was thriving while all the other plantings were near death due to the lack of rain. It seemed to tolerate our drought very well and I sure do like the color it would add to our garden.
Please help ID this plant.

there are too many varieties to name it excatly but that’s what it is.
I’m planting lots of them because they are so drought tolerant
