What is this Drought Tolerate Plant?

« Back to Name that Plant

Date Photo Taken: Sept. 2, 2011
Location: Chamblee, GA MARTA station

Notes:

We saw these plants in the Chamblee MARTA station parking lot landscaping. It was thriving while all the other plantings were near death due to the lack of rain. It seemed to tolerate our drought very well and I sure do like the color it would add to our garden.

Please help ID this plant.
