Notes:
This weed is taking over my zoysia lawn. No one at Farmer D’s or at Pikes could identify it. The leaves are very small and there is no central root, each leaf has a root, making it difficult to manage by manually pulling the weeds.

Hello,
February 26th, 2012 at 12:33 pmI can’t tell from the pics, but it resembles nepata. Does it have an odor?

I am seeing ground ivy now and it looks similar to your photo. See a previous post to Walter here: http://www.walterreeves.com/gardening-q-and-a/creeping-charlie-ground-ivy-control/
February 27th, 2012 at 9:47 pmOne other weed it may be is Brisly mallow. In the West Georgia area the mallow is more obvious than ground ivy at this time of year. Compare to this site: http://www.forestryimages.org/browse/detail.cfm?imgnum=5370213
