This tree was sold as a red horse apple , but it was obvious after budding and leafing out that it was something different. Leaves have some similarity to a peach, but are wider. The new leaves are ‘fuzzy’. This tree is a very fast grower.

Hard to tell from the distance but reminds me of a persimmon. Can you take a closeup of the leaves and repost?
