Notes:
I am growing early girl tomatoes this year. The plants look great and the tomatoes look great on the outside. However, when I cut into them, they are not juicy. There are open spaces on the inside. There is a yellow or white color in the outer core. I include pictures. No one has seen this before. Am I not watering enough? Do I need to fertilize more? Is there a disease? I planted them in what was a pine straw bed last year. Is the soil to acidic? Help? Is my garden ruined?

Could be too acidic from the pine straw, or could be a potassium deficiency. Also, tomatoes need calcium to achieve their full potential. This page gives some other possible reasons. http://thewolfweb.com/message_topic.aspx?topic=569997
