Notes:
We recently moved into our first house and have a few of these around the house. They seem to house a lot of spiders and we are thinking about cutting them down, any suggestions for replacement?
Thanks

This is a beautiful flowering shrub found all over the south in the far southern regions.
Common name oleander.

Looks like Oleander to me. We had one of these on the side of the house we moved into too. They can be poisonous if you have children or pets that might eat the leaves. Ours had white flowers, but they also have varieties with pink flowers. Ours grew pretty tall. We cut it back often, but it grew pretty fast and was too close to the house. There were lots of wasps around it too. We finally cut it down.

Thanks for the help. Our dog enjoys eating sticks so it might have to go.
