stone Master Identifier says:
Compare with Sesbania. Ima fan of the various rattle pods… And this one gives some neat height to the garden. An annual, but adds nitrogen to the soil, and has flowers… I doubt this one will get very tall, but last year… I had one get to 11 foot tall in my vegetable garden! I spent a lot of time trying to get a decent pic, but… Those delicate ferny leaves don’t photograph well. I find that the seeds all fall near the plant, and it doesn’t spread without a lot of help…. But, other people might call it a weed.
