I brought several of thes from my mother-in-law’s yard near Birmingham; she got it originally from an aunt in rural Alabama. Neither of us knows exactly what it is. Each bulb puts up two or more bloomstalks consecutively during the summer. Each stalk will have from 9-17 flowers. The leaves grow continuously through the summer, reaching 3 feet or more in length.
