Notes:
What is it? Saw it in the garden at Children’s Hospital of Atlanta. It’s about 4 ft tall, clumping flower, and a fall bloomer (in bloom now)

I agree with stone that this is a type of anemone. Its branching habit reminds me of Thimbleweed (Anemone virginiana).
