absolutely wonderful scent in air from this tree. want to know what it is to care for it properly

   It looks and sounds suspiciously like a privett. Check it out, and if it is, you would be advised to destroy it and all its seeds. It will take over. If it is not a privett, then you might have a nice plant.

   Chinese privet. A very invasive and nasty plant. Spread by birds,through the seeds, it takes over and replaces native species. Bulldozer and roundup are in order.

   All true. If anyone in your family has allergies this thing is a nightmare. Not much of a trade-off, but it really is a terrible problem for all of us. It is taking over.
