Notes:

Low shrub (3-4 feet) with rounded, shiny leaves, edge of a parking lot, lots of clusters. I remember it from a grandmother’s “living” hedge, but hers were very tall- 10-12 feet. She called it French honeysuckle, but it is NOT a vine. This was in the 50’s. No one in my garden group seems to know it.

    I don’t think French Honeysuckle (Hedysarum coronarium) has red berries. Do you happen to know what the flowers of the plant pictured look like? My first jump would have been to Beauty Berry, but the leaves don’t look right for that.
