I wish your pics showed up. To me, what is on the front looks like ragweed. Ragweed is scented, but I wouldn’t call it pleasant.

I’m guessing only, it could be a species in the Artemisia genus, perhaps Artemisia annua (sweet Annie, sweet wormwood, sweet sagewort. you know more when it blooms.
