Notes:
This large plant sprang up this season in an area where we had sown some mixed wildflower seed. We haven’t seen any flowers on it yet, and the stalk doesn’t have bark, but the leaves are needle-like and paired. It will flop over somewhat if not supported. Does anyone know what it is?

The foliage reminds me of “love-in-a-mist”, …but I’ve sure never seen one as vigorous as yours! I think I’ll go with cosmos, also.
