I’ve seen this vine down my grandpops for a while and it’s very annoying and invasive wondering if anyone knows what it is and how to get rid of it or control it.

I believe it is wisteria. after going around the property i did see an old oak tree wrapped with a vine and what looked like the flowers on there. Now the question is the stuff has spread over a long period of time is there a way to get rid of it.
