I couldn’t figure out how to submit this as a question. I have a Yaupon that was healthy for several years. About 2 years ago this problem started. The young leaves looked like they were folded togetherlike a taco. In the winter they die (see those on the end of the branch in the picture). Some of the berries turn black and shrivel. I talked to the county agent and he suggested an insecticide. It seems to be contagious since a Yaypon near it also showed the same symptoms.
Does anyone know what this is or how to control it.

Some days I’m convinced I have Alzheimers disease (where did I leave my keys?, what’s that plant with the yellow flower?)

And then there are days when I can remember an obscure thing from years ago….
