Q&A Can't find your topic?

'Moudry' Fountain Grass
Q: I have read about an ornamental grass whose scientific name is Pennisetum alopecuroides ‘Moudry’ (Black-Seeded Fountain Grass). I can’t seem to find it anywhere. Do you have any sources?
A: You are correct that this is one of the most attractive of the ornamental grasses. Along with Purple Fountain Grass (Pennisetum setaceum ’Rubrum’) and Maidengrass (Miscanthus sinensis ‘Gracillimus’, it should be found in nurseries more often.

Call your local nurseries first. If they can’t supply what you need, call Habersham Nursery in Atlanta.
