Indian Pink (Spigelia marilandica)
 Perennial
native to the Central and Southeastern U.S. This stunning woodland
wildflower begins blooming in mid May and continues into June with
shocking red tubular flowers that open to reveal a bright yellow
throat. Sporadic flowers appear through the summer. Easy to grow and
attracts hummingbirds.

Q:These seed things popped up in my lawn.
Could they be from the crocus that bloomed earlier in the spring? -

purple leafed oxalis looks great. With warmer weather the leaves get
what looks like orange dust on them. - Judy C.
