cool nighttime temperatures coupled with warm, humid days. Symptoms

I send

Variegated
evergreen shrub native to Asia. It looks like a holly but it isn't.
This unusual species of tea olive is often referred to as the false
holly because of the resemblance. Variegated leaves have five colors
and the shrub produces fragrant fall flowers. Grows in full sun to
medium shade. 
By
mid to late summer, many flowering plants have become weary with the
heat and are beginning to slow down for the season. This is where
plants with interesting foliage can steal the show. I'm most intrigued
with plants that have purple foliage, some so dark they almost look
black.
