Perennial native to most of the U.S. This is one of my favorite late summer blooming flowers. The stalks of scarlet red flowers that extend as much as 4 feet above the foliage are hard to miss when blooming in low ditches or at the edge of lakes and ponds. Attracts hummingbirds. Learn more...
