Wild violet. They love acidic soil, so if you have any dogs peeing in the yard… that’s where they’ll grow.

This plant reminds me of a wild violet which grows in damp, shady places, often in wooded areas. It can also be grown in flower beds but some gardeners consider it a weed.

I think that’s a Viola. Very invasive to the yard and won’t stay where you put them but can be quite nice in flower beds.
