Is ‘Emerald’ Zoysiagrass Really ‘Emerald?’
Turf specialist Dr. Clint Waltz doesn’t think so.
Over the years homeowners have noticed a marked difference in the greenup dates between different lawns that are all supposed to be ‘Emerald’.
Using genetic analysis, Dr. Waltz found that some sods sold as ‘Emerald’ may not be so!
