Watering – With Dishwater
Q: My Dad has always put the water from the sink, after washing the dishes, on his plants, believing it to be good fertilizer, or somehow else good for them. Is he correct?
A: I don’t have any problem with doing it. The dish water is not terribly alkaline and the scraps of food certainly provide plant nutrients.
