Azaleas & Rhododendrons – Is September Too Late To Prune?

Q: I need to prune my azaleas and rhododendron. Is it too late?
A: Check the ends of the shrub branches. If it has flower buds present, you’ll
be cutting off next year’s flowers if you prune now.
