Cockspur Coral Bush – Identification
Q: Can you please help me identify this plant? It has small thorns on the branches but the flowers are really pretty.
A: It’s a cockspur coral bush, Erythrina crista-galli . It’s not really supposed to be winter hardy in the northern half of the state but I see them growing here occasionally.
