Experimental Flower Garden – University of Georgia

Q: I am going to visit my son at the University of Georgia and would love to visit the experimental flower garden. I am always so impressed when Dr. Allan Armitage describes the plants they are working on. Can you tell me where it is?

A: The Gardens at Athens (formerly known as the University of Georgia Trial Gardens) are easy to get to. Get a campus map from your son and find the Pharmacy Building and Snelling Dining Hall. The gardens are between the two buildings. You can park in the nearby South Campus Parking deck. See http://ugatrial.hort.uga.edu for more details.
