Rose stem canker
Q: Our Knockout rose stems look odd. Will a fungicide help cure this problem?
A: It looks like a stem canker. There are several fungi that attack rose stems but I don’t know which this is.
Prune out the affected stems and then spray with Daconil fungicide to protect them.
