Notes:
I purchased this plant at a local church plant sale: it was labelled “Lysii”. It’s about 8 inches high and is spreading nicely. It’s come through a couple of winters (we’re in Norfolk, UK) and is much admired……I’ve said we’re in West Coast USA because (a) your system DEMANDS something and (b) our daughter lives in Dana Point, CA.

Maybe a type of yellow loosestrife (Lysimachia). This looks like a cultivar in the Lysimachia congestiflora group. Best wishes! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lysimachia_congestiflora
