Thank you for your help. I believe you are right. We have been trying selective herbicides with no results. I guess we will have to use glyphosate on it. Thanks again!

One regional lawn service reports Quackgrass as a problem weed in NW Arkansas lawns. Jonesboro is across the state in the NE but IÕm not sure Quackgrass read the canÕt grow here memo. USDA reports the weedÕs distribution does include Arkansas. Being a West Georgia boy IÕve not seen Quackgrass as a persistent weed issue here but I am familiar with it. It can be confused with tall fescue but it is not to common in central W. Georgia. I am thankful for that because compared to fescue as a weed in bermuda grass Quackgrass is a beast. It is very persistent to control in cooler climates. Compare what you are seeing with Quackgrass: Elymus repens.
