Notes:
The tree is about twenty five feet tall and has many nut(?) pods. Leaves are fairly large and smooth. Some of the pods have turned brown and opened but I didn’t see came out.

Yes. Technically, Paulownia tomentosa. An invasive from China. Nice purple blossoms give rise to the pods in the picture, which open and discharge their seeds, then turn brown and hang on the tree, which is then the opposite of attractive.
