Notes:
I was given this plant recently. It was made into a bonsai form about 20 years ago. I have tried in vain to find the name of the plant. The leaves are an unusual shape. They are a beautiful green. I don’t know if it will produce any flowers. If it does, I will upload a photo.

Many thanks for the replies. Yes indeed the photos of the leaves here are precisely the same as my photo. The important detail is that the leaves are right opposite each other on the branches. https://www.google.com.au/search?q=Buddleja+indica&biw=1045&bih=491&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=PFw4VN7TApXs8AXYs4K4Cw&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=HuF7TthU4oVefM%253A%3BGxUFWSSrlUSuoM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Ftoptropicals.com%252Fpics%252Fgarden%252F07%252F3%252FP3203307.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Ftoptropicals.com%252Fcgi-bin%252Fgarden_catalog%252Fcat.cgi%253Fsearch_op%253Dand%2526keyword_op%253Dand%2526lang%253De%2526number%253D5%2526imagesonly%253D1%2526no_change_lang%253D1%2526v1%253Dwht%2526user%253Dtt%2526first%253D201%3B600%3B464
