Notes:

This looks much like a type of fern, grows on vines that invade my mondo grass an neighboring shrubs by climbing up the shrubs. Because of the area covered I would like to find a weed killer that will address this weed but not damage the grass bed it is invading. We have been in the house for 2+ years and the weeds were here already. Thank You!

Sensitive & Japanese ferns both have under ground stems (rhizomes). These must be remove to keep it from regenerating new plants. Although the included link below with tips for removing Japanese climbing fern, the mechanical method can be apply for sensitive fern also. Best wishes!

Is there a recommended way to rid it from the area other than hand weeding?
